New Jersey Clean Communities

Kids-Teens for Clean Communities

Kids-Teens for Clean Communities is a coalition of New Jersey residents under the ages of eighteen who have pledged to Slam Dunk the Junk—and Keep New Jersey Clean & Green. 

Kids-Teens who pledge support are invited to participate in programs sponsored by the Clean Communities Council.

NJFC Scholarship Program

Kids-Teens for Clean Communities was organized by the Clean Communities Council in 2003 in response to the legislative mandate to reduce litter through education.  As a clearinghouse of information about litter abatement and solid waste, the Council funded the production of the Garbology of Us.   Educational resources are listed in the Best Practices in Clean Communities manual, also funded and distributed by the Clean Communities Council.
